AN INDEPENDENT WEB EXHIBITION

A collection
of connections.

The web is a bigger place than a screen.

The Collector’s Atlas is a field notebook of imaginary projects. Twelve original illustrations explore Play, Sound, and Place, with more than one way through.

The collection holds 372 original studies. Project names, studios, and dates are fictional. Each illustration and studio note was made for this exhibition and is hosted here.

Open a specimen to inspect the artwork. Follow a connection to gather related works around it. Every line has a reason, from a shared visual idea to a nearby archive date.

This is one of four independent animation experiments by John Polacek. Explore all four demos.
